New-York, June 13. . . [20 lines]  A poem was written in
New-England, intitled, "Grateful Reflections on the Divine
Goodness, in the remarkable success vouchsafed our arms; in
the Northern department, &c." Of which the following are
the three last lines, viz.
    "O may this favoured land, in debt
  For countless mercies, ne'er forget
  This great salvation wrought for it."
    To which was added by another hand.
     "That we are God's peculiar care,
  We need not doubt, we need not fear;
  To prove it, I shall only mention
  That though we broke Burgoyne's convention,
  As we before had Arnold's cartel,
  We yet are safe on this side H-ll,'
  But let us not exult for this,
  We still may go there in
 Finis."
